Keeping your makeup brushes clean is non-negotiable for clear skin and flawless makeup application. Here is my complete brush care routine: using a quick daily spray for maintenance and a tea tree soap set for a deep weekly clean.
Key Brush Cleaning Tips:
Spray Daily to Prevent Buildup: Use a quick-drying brush spray after each makeup application to dissolve surface pigment immediately so colors do not mix tomorrow.
Deep Clean Weekly with Tea Tree Soap: Use a tea tree soap set once a week to dissolve stubborn oils, melt away liquid foundation, and naturally sanitize bristles.
Keep Water Out of the Ferrule: Always tilt brush bristles downward under running water to prevent moisture from loosening the glue holding your brush together.
Flat or Hanging Dry Only: Reshape brush bristles while damp and lay them flat on a towel or hang them upside down to keep water from seeping into the handle.
